A U G U S T      2     U P D A T E

        It has been an amazing month!  So many things are coming together thanks to your prayers and the help of our generous supporters.  I think even Mother Earth is pitching in.

        Just the other day, our video friend Brani Sulek finished our first 60 second promo video.  Have a watch and please share with your networks.  link  We are planning a second video with captions in eight languages for the coming days.

        Then, we received an email for an artist in Ghana offering to contribute to our dancing mothers section.  The plan is to have mothers from everywhere dancing with their children to the sounds of "Ma".  So far, we have helpers in Toronto, Florida, Bolivia, China, South Africa, and Ghana arranging this. 

         It seems just last week, Bogdan Djukic agreed to perform the Finale of our Climate Crisis Anthem.  This is a crucial piece where Mother Earth resurrects and dances the Dance of Life.  Bogdan is a brilliant violinist who has performed with Mirabai Ceiba on their concert tours.  Thomas Barquee, our producer, and I feel very blessed to have Bogdan join our team. 

        Once the Finale is done, all focus turns to the creating the video to go with it.  To that end, Toronto dancer Emma Bartolomucci has agreed to perform the starring role as Mother Earth.  Having watched her video performances, I feel she will bring just the right energy and grace to the part.  Our plan is to shoot this segment at the picturesque Scarborough Bluffs on Lake Ontario.
