Request from Yogiji to all students in 3HO
Camp Washington, D.C,
November 1, 1974
To all students in 3HO
To all Sikhs of the Guru
To all Singh Sahibs and Mukhia Singh Sahibs of the Khalsa Council
I Harbhajan Singh Yogi hereby request that every student in the 3HO family and every person in any position direct or indirect in Sikh Dharma may please be informed that in case of any guidance where doubt may have happened directly or indirectly in any of the classes or ashrams that they have the right and privilege to call me at (213) 273-9422 directly, and in case I am not available at Headquarters they can ask for the number where I will be available which will be given to all of them. Los Angeles time they can call between 9 and 12 a.m., but in case of emergency any time can be used. In case I am out of the ashram they can leave the operator the number so I can come back and call them immediately as I can. It shall be a privilege for me to serve them, to talk to them, and to discuss with them to remove any kind of direct or indirect doubt.
In case a teacher expresses any doubt about the teachings or about his own personality to any student, immediately a call may be made to Yogiji and the same teacher may be told as a token of reverence that he should also contact Yogiji then and there. In case he makes lame excuse that he has no money, the student should help by giving money as a charity in the Name of God so teacher may make the phone call and faith may be brought back again. For this karma such person doing such charity will be blessed through generations.
All students must know that they must upkeep the faith of teachers in case of weakness and weak moments. This karma will be rewarded for generations of peace and tranquility throughout the families.
This request of mine may be countersigned as a token of having been read by all ashram students, Sikhs of the Siri Guru Granth, seekers of Truth, and all Ministers and members of the Sikh Dharma; and a xeroxed copy may be returned to me for my records. One copy shall always, in bold letters, be displayed in each ashram.
In the Name of the Cosmos which prevails through everyBODY and the Holy Nam which holds the world,
Humbly yours,
Yogi Bhajan
