Occupy TorontoThere is a need for social justice in the world and I have found the Occupy Movement has expressed that need peacefully, sometimes sweetly, sometimes courageously, and usually very well. It is a progressive movement I am happy to be a part of. Below, you will find: 1) an article I submitted to the Toronto Star. It was not published, but I did notice that the editor for the ethics section of the paper did pick up Richard Wilkenson's idea that exaggerated inequality hurts everyone. 2) Here is a great talk by Wilkenson at ted.com. 3) And here is an inspiring video collage of Occupy USA accompanied by Leonard Cohen's Democracy.
