This past February I went on a life-altering tour of our communities in Argentina, Chile and Colombia. I shared some teachings. I also came back with a sense of needs in Latin America that can easily be fulfilled with a little imagination and just a little of our fabled northern wealth.
Below our five costed projects. Three of them are in countries under severe financial stress. With Guru's grace and your kind help, we can get this seva done before year's end.

Shabad Guru for Venezuela
This will be a dream come true for the Sangat in Venezuela. After a haphazard try at shipping the Shabad Guru, we plan to do it properly this time and deliver it personally, which costs less than the courier anyway. Our best dates are September 2-4.

A Dharmic Storybook of Niños (Boys) in Spanish
When I saw how very little Sikh dharma literature there is for children in Spanish, and nothing really for boys, I set to work. Our working title is "Fuerte como el acero, firme como la piedra", meaning "Strong as steel, steady as stone."

Shabad Guru for Cuba
Shipping does not seem to be an option here, as we recently lost a copy of "The Man Called The Siri Singh Sahib" in the mail. The community is growing and evolving. Some members plan to take Amrit this year. Having the Shabad Guru will make their Sangat complete. We have been invited to arrive November 8th.

Send a Fine Young Chilean to Miri Piri Academy
Gurudain Singh just experienced his first year at Miri Piri, near Amritsar, starting last September. It is a big expense in Chilean pesos, so our global Sangat pitched in to help pay his way last year. We are doing the same with a fund-raiser this year. School begins in September.
