A Book Takes Shape...
Stories are stories. When a powerful story takes root in a child's heart, that story can shape and guide that little heart to imagine, to hope, to love, to conquer, and to live an extraordinary life. During a teaching mission in South America, I saw that boys did not have books with the stories I know and am guided by. The book I wrote a few years ago for girls who also needed stories was obviously not adequate. So this book took shape.
Here are twenty-six inspiring and thought-provoking stories taken from the lives of extraordinary boys, many of whom grew up to be outstanding spiritual teachers. Guru Nanak and Yogi Bhajan are among them. Each chapter ends with a brief exercise for contemplation or discussion.
