Taught by: Gurutej Kaur (Los Angeles) lead trainer
Siri Bandhu Kaur (Ottawa)

and Guru Fatha Singh
A great team of teachers
We are really fortunate to be able to have Gurutej Kaur, who taught the first Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training Courses in Toronto in the 1970s back for this new session. Gurutej's experience in Los Angeles - participating in the biggest Kundalini Yoga community on the planet, television appearances and offering corporate yoga as The Energy Guru has only enriched her teaching repertoire - and we are glad to have her back. (See part of her interview on Brave Heart Women TV below.) www.gurutej.com
Siri Bandhu Kaur has served as healer to Yogi Bhajan and his wife, Bibiji. An accomplished massage therapist, craniosacral therapist, palmist, entrepreneur and wife of 32 years and counting, Siri Bandhu will contribute her considerable knowledge of anatomy, physiology and humanology as taught by Yogi Bhajan to the course. We are happy to welcome her back to Toronto. www.vegybnb.com
Lisa "Devi Kirn" Scandolari has her own yoga center in Saint Catherines. She has been practicing yoga for about 10 years now. She became a certified teacher of Kundalini Yoga in 2006. Before that, she studied widely in Canada, the US, and Thailand. Her teachers have included Swami Atman, Swami Swaroopananda, Erich Schiffman, Rodney Yee, Nischala Joy Devi, Janice Clarefield, Luang Phor Viriyang Slrintharo Phratephjetiyajan and John Friend. www.lisasyoga.com
Guru Fatha Singh will serve as administrator and intern during this, his first teacher training course. He will contribute his 39 years of yogic practice, his knowledge of Yogi Bhajan's teachings, and his inspiration to the course.
For all students of Kundalini Yoga
This teacher training program is for everyone, whether you desire to become a certified teacher or simply wish to deepen your experience of Kundalini Yoga. Students new to Kundalini Yoga will gain a strong foundation to begin a lasting practice of this ancient technology. Longtime practitioners can deepen their experience, gain new skills, and challenge themselves by really delving deep into the technology of Kundalini Yoga.
Students and teachers of other types of yoga will also benefit from learning and practicing Kundalini Yoga and giving themselves a chance to experience why it is called "the Yoga of Awareness." This course will give you a foundation for a successful life-long practice.
If you want to deepen your relationship with your spirit and you are ready to begin a process of positive change in your life, then this course is for you.
Course dates
Classes will meet monthly over 10 weekends: Fridays 6-9 pm, Saturdays and Sundays, 9 am to 6 pm. Home base for the course will be the Multifaith Centre at the University of Toronto, located on the second floor of 569 Spadina Avenue, north of College Street. The November weekend will be held at the beautiful Northumberland Conference and Retreat Centre, one hour's drive from Toronto. For many, May 7 will be the highlight of the year: a day of White Tantric Yoga at the Church of the Holy Trinity, near Yonge and Dundas streets. The cost of this course is included in the tuition. There will also be an optional graduation day.
